Celebrating Progress: The Mill’s Expansion Reflects Market West’s Ongoing Evolution

Did you hear the news? We accomplished a significant milestone last week — completing The Mill’s Third Floor Expansion project. We hosted a ribbon cutting celebration with 100+ guests on Tuesday, February 13th.

We are so grateful for the supportive words from our guest speakers who have been instrumental in helping The Mill with our expansion efforts over the past 8 years. We extend our thanks to Governor John Carney, City of Wilmington Mayor Mike Purzycki, New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer, and Chris Buccini, Founder of Buccini Pollin Group.

This 38,000-square-foot expansion represents a significant milestone in transforming the former Nemours Building, now rebranded as Market West. With recent expansion and growth, The Mill now encompasses 104,700 square feet of coworking space at Market West, solidifying its position as one of the largest traditional coworking spaces in a single location in Greater Philadelphia.

The third-floor expansion introduces over 30 furnished offices of various sizes, ranging from single workspaces to a 5,500 SF suite. New amenities cater to the evolving workforce, including outdoor terraces, a state-of-the-art video and audio podcasting suite in partnership with Studio Charter, and wellness spaces like a treadmill and maternity suites. Community spaces offer recreational activities such as shuffleboard, foosball, and cornhole, along with a multi-purpose party room accommodating up to 30 people. Furthermore, a glass interior stairwell connects the third and fourth floors, enhancing accessibility to existing amenities and conference rooms.

Our newly renovated space offers a diverse range of offices and suites, catering to businesses of varying sizes. In addition to updated workspaces, we have integrated several existing amenities, including high-speed internet, conference rooms, printing and scanning facilities, and comfortable break rooms.
