THE MILL: Share your experience as a member at The Mill.
ANYA: Being a member of The Mill Concord has been an incredibly positive experience for me. The office space is warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to feel comfortable and truly at home while working. Beyond the physical space, the community itself is what sets The Mill apart. I’ve had the opportunity to connect and network with other business professionals from a wide range of industries, sparking meaningful conversations, collaborations, and new ideas. The Mill Concord isn’t just a place to work, it’s a supportive environment that fosters connection, creativity, and professional growth.
THE MILL: How does your work style influence how you set up your space?
ANYA: I value an environment that feels welcoming and comfortable; one that supports deep thinking but also makes it easy to connect with others. Having a space that feels like home helps me stay grounded during busy days, while an open, organized layout allows me to shift seamlessly between strategy, meetings, and creative work. I’m intentional about creating a setting that encourages productivity without feeling rigid, and that invites conversation, ideas, and conn
THE MILL: Who or what inspired your office design?
ANYA: My office design is inspired by a blend of personal identity, comfort, and creativity. My love for boho textures, warm gold accents, and unique antique pieces shapes a space that feels layered, intentional, and lived-in. As a Black woman, it was important for my office to feel affirming and expressive; a space that reflects strength, heritage, and individuality while also feeling inviting and empowering. The result is an environment that feels both grounded and inspiring, a place where I can lead, create, and show up fully as myself.
THE MILL: What colors, textures, or décor elements did you choose, and why?
ANYA: I chose a palette of warm golds and rich browns to create a space that feels grounded, elegant, and inviting. Gold accents—especially in frames and décor add a sense of confidence and refinement, while the brown tones bring warmth and balance. I incorporated woven baskets and textured pieces to introduce natural elements that soften the space and give it a relaxed, boho feel.
THE MILL: Are there tools, tech, or furniture pieces that make your day easier?
ANYA: I have a minispeaker that I love that helps me listen to my pods as I’m working. Also, a desk lamp with a cell phone charging cradle.
