Meet Herbert Mondros from Rigrodsky Law

By The Mill

Rigrodsky Law is a 7-lawyer boutique law firm that fights for shareholders’ rights in state and federal courts across the nation.  Herb is the firm’s lone attorney based in Delaware. By day, he’s holding big corporations accountable in the “Corporate Capital” of the U.S.  By night? He’s probably still working, but now he has a great space to work on his cases at The Mill!

When asked what he loves most about The Mill, Herb’s response was as smooth as a well-practiced closing argument: “Quiet and professional.” But don’t let that fool you – this lawyer’s got a rock ‘n’ roll side because you know what sealed the deal for Herb when touring The Mill? Was it the prime location? The swanky decor? The fascinating history? Nope! It was a Grateful Dead sticker left on his office window! That’s right, folks – Office #453 is now officially rocking to the beat of “The Grateful Dead Office.” Jerry Garcia would be proud!

Herb’s not just about the 9-to-5 grind. He’s worked on legal teams that successfully exonerated four wrongfully convicted men and won their release from Delaware prisons.  He does this pro bono through his involvement with Innocence Project Delaware, a non-profit organization focused on overturning wrongful convictions.

In his spare time, Herb fronts a Delaware county-based band called Out of Order.  Their genre is “protest music, including psychedelic.”

And let’s not forget the friends! Another selling point for Herb was knowing another member, Bernie Conaway of Conaway-Legal LLC.

“I have a friend here, Bernie Conaway, and as it turns out, as I walk through the hallways, I have a few friends here. I had a mediation here with Bernie a couple of years ago and was impressed,” Mondros expressed, highlighting how The Mill fosters professional relationships and brings everyone together.

It’s like a legal version of “Cheers,” where everybody knows your name (and probably your bar number too)! We love it when members bring in guests because, if the stars align, they may also become members!

Do you have a friend who’s looking for an office space? Connect them with us, and we’ll give them a tour!
