Ryan Drummond is the CEO and Founder of TheAthleteBook, a platform that connects hiring employers to college athletes and former professional athletes. TheAthleteBook sells recruiting subscription packages to employers and career readiness packages to athletic departments.
Ryan’s passion to help college athletes stems from his experience as captain of the University of Delaware Men’s lacrosse team in 2004. Before starting TheAthleteBook, he held a variety of leadership roles at technology recruitment companies and managed the recruitment process for JPMorgan’s Technology Analyst Program.
When asked why he enjoys working at The Mill, Ryan said, “Being a CEO of a startup can be a lonely gig. I know that I’ll have at least one meaningful conversation with an interesting human every time I come to the Mill. Also a good workout session and steam is right down stairs at CoreTen Fitness!”
Outside of work, Ryan performed as an amateur stand up comic in NYC for two years. Now, he tries to get laughs out of his two daughters. He also enjoys mountain biking, party, and “crushing most dance floors while simultaneously pulling both hamstrings.”
