Sam Stokes is a third year student at the University of Delaware, majoring in Entrepreneurship and Technology Innovation. This summer, Sam has been refining The Mill’s virtual office membership protocols and new live receptionist services.
Originally from a small town in southern New Jersey, Sam is familiar with itch to travel the world. So far she’s been to Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Costa Rica. She says that Costa Rica has been her favorite place to visit so far because of “the amazing people, their radiating happiness, and the beautiful scenery of the rainforest.”
Sam is very involved in the Horn Program and serves as Head of Marketing for the Entrepreneurship Club. In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, art, and relaxing on the beach with a good book. She has a deep love of ice cream (Bing Cherry Vanilla being her hard disputed favorite!) And like many of us, she struggles with tan lines. Using her extensive entrepreneurial skills, Sam has researched fabrics that reduce this issue and intends to start her own line of swimwear that eliminates tan lines.
