Meet Our Interns: Sam Barrett

By websites@tappnetwork.com

Sam Barrett is a sophomore at Dartmouth College double majoring in Mathematics and Economics with a focus in data science. A Tower Hill alumnus, Sam grew up just outside of Wilmington. As a Financial Analytics intern, Sam’s focus has fallen on projects such as The Mill Auditorium and train station offices. His diverse knowledge of technology in the theater and data analytics have equally assisted in his understanding of the Wilmington economy and many of its hidden gems.

Outside of the classroom, Sam is extremely involved in Dartmouth’s entrepreneurship initiatives, helping the college’s Innovation center to develop and implement new educational programming for current students. He has also represented the college at entrepreneurship conferences across the country. Following his interest in literature, Sam writes for Dartmouth’s satire publication, The Jack-O-Lantern, contributes to theDartmouth Business Journal, and teaches snowboarding to undergraduates during the winter months. In his free time, Sam pursues his passion for music by playing the guitar, piano, and trumpet, and he dabbles in digital music production and sound design as well. His next mission? Stand-up comedy.
