Meet Our Members: Jamie Magee

By websites@tappnetwork.com

Jamie Magee is a man of many interests. In addition to being a Managing Partner at MartinScott Consulting, he volunteers with Wilmington’s Urban Bike Project and helped start and co-direct the Newark Bike Project. He also gardens, cooks, and is involved in a number of community organizations on transportation equity, food justice, and animal rescue.

He currently runs a five-person business consulting firm based in DC, focusing on document management systems such as IBM Notes and SharePoint. In addition, he speaks at a few conferences in Europe and North America, but adds, “Most days you will find me at The Mill!”

He shares that what he enjoys most about The Mill is a combination of its great design and amenities, as well as the culture and community. “I’ve met many interesting people and even collaborated on some business. Since my ‘invisible’ job is mostly conducted through a computer screen and keyboard, I really appreciate the opportunity to say hi and chat with people around The Mill.”

On top of all his volunteer and technical work, he shares this fun fact about himself: “I was the captain of a two-time national champion adult kickball team (yep, the same game you played in 4th grade). So ask me about bicycles, gardening, dogs, or kickball!”
