Health care is a major component of our economy. The behind-the-scenes aspects of health care, including technology, have become increasingly important in keeping people healthy. Reciprocity Health is the team behind healthcare technology, which ultimately helps people adhere to their prescribed medications and therapies. The idea of the technology is to encourage more patients to become healthier and adhere to taking their medicines. At the same time, their employers and insurance companies (payors) will better manage their costs.
“Health insurance companies and employers are taking steps to support adherence, and that’s where our technology comes in,” says Jon Silvon, CoFounder and Chief Operating Officer. “We remind people with messaging and incentives to follow their doctors’ orders with our app and corresponding debit cards.”
Currently, Reciprocity Health employs about 15 people across the country and expects to grow – they established their headquarters at The Mill by occupying the previously known conference room, the Christiana. Matt Swanson, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, says that setting up headquarters at The Mill was appealing.
“We expect to grow, and that’s going to be very easy here. We wanted a central location, and The Mill meets our needs perfectly,” he adds.
